When your transactions are synced on Volopay, they automatically get categorized depending on which account the money was debited/credit into and what the purpose of the transaction was. With multi-currency wallets and cards, the information on the card number and wallet is also recorded. Combining this with custom tagging systems and controls, you could very well create your own GL mapping if you wish to.
Yes, definitely. All card transactions, physical or virtual, are recorded with the information on which card type was used, for which vendor, and by which employee. If you have a vendor-specific card, that also gets recorded. When this information is synced with the accounting system, you can reconcile it based on the card type. Card type-level organization is also possible on the Volopay dashboard as well, for custom expense reporting.
Yes, Volopay allows integrations to automatically sync. The moment you connect your account, it’s possible for there to be a flow of information on both ends. What this means is that any updates on either end - whether that’s your expense management system or your integration - are reflected on both systems. You can set up automatic syncing so that this doesn’t have to be done manually.
All your transactions have relevant information attached to their line item (invoices, POs, vendor, receipts). So, yes, any split transactions that you initiate can be processed by the integration as well as the expense management system. The trigger system tags them all in the same manner so even multiple bills can be reconciled together.
